Hey Kids!
All free, all fun and all
for you! Stop by the Kids' Activity Area
between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Bring your favorite adult to get your hands dirty and explore
some of the techniques used by artists in the festival. This
year you will have the opportunity to fashion a sun hat, make a
kite, create an origami book, or help make a sand mandala.
Supplies are free of charge, thanks to our generous donors and experienced
volunteers.
All Children under the age
of 8 are welcome with an adult who is ready, able and willing to
help them create art. Children under the age of 12 can work
on their own but cannot leave the area unattended.
When you're done creating
your own unique piece of art, wander the festival to find similar
pieces done by our exhibiting artists or check out the performing
arts schedule for more great kids' activities!
