An inspiring, nurturing, and creative setting provides children with the opportunity to explore and grow through art. Children's art classes are designed with an emphasis on process rather than product. Creative problem solving and individual expression are elements of each class. Occasionally students work in teams on group projects. Class subjects often relate to the exhibitions on view in the gallery and incorporate art historical references to provide context for learning. Supplies are provided for all children's classes.
Let your children experience fun and exciting ways to make art. They will be involved in designing and creating lots of different arts and crafts projects and will share their ideas and artwork with the group. Kids will be introduced to a variety of art media including drawing, painting, textiles and collage while having the freedom to express themselves as they choose. Every child will take home new skills, personalized artwork and great memories!
