Join author and illustrator Leslie Patricelli for a day of comic-making fun. You'll learn about drawing superheroes, pen and ink technique and the format of the graphic novel. Design your own unique superhero and arch enemy, then create a mini graphic novel using your characters.

For Teens! Video Production Workshop with Mark Oliver Sat & Sun, Sept 27 & 28, 2008 This two-day intensive workshop for teens will cover the basic aspects of video production including the importance of visual storytelling as well as editing and sound design. Participants will develop small script ideas and move into the basics of shooting. They will learn the correct way to care for and use cameras and come together as a team to conceptualize and produce a film. Scholarships and work study opportunities are available for all Sun Valley Center for the Arts classes; please ask for more information.
