Capitol Steps
Sunday, January 27
Community Campus Auditorium, Hailey
Irreverent, bipartisan and side-splittingly funny, the Capitol
Steps have been poking fun of politics for some twenty-five
years now. The latest incarnation of the Washington-based comedy
group will bring its satirical songs and skits to the Wood River
Valley in the middle of presidential primary season.
The group is an "equal opportunity offender." Stepper Elaina
Newport says that "typically the Republicans goof up, and the
Democrats party. Then the Democrats goof up and the Republicans
party. That's what we call the two-party system." |
